North American River Otter – River Otters are a somewhat common site in Walt Disney World’s waterways and we have seen them near the Haunted Mansion and at Old Key West Resort. Guests have posted pictures online of them playing in the water in the Magic Kingdom and at Disney resorts. Otters are playful animals and seeing them in or near the water is always fun.

In Animal Kingdom you can visit a family of Asian Small Clawed Otters who live in the Otter Grotto near the Starbucks on Discovery Island.
